Bring a Buddy- seriously, someone you like!

Okay, so I confess I’ve joked alot with my friends that this is the place I will gripe about my workouts, and moan about all the pain I’m in. That’s not entirely untrue- there will definitely be some of that. However, I’ve got to say a couple of things. I have worked out periodically in the past- with a trainer, without a trainer (which really scarcely counts), and in classes.
I’m here to tell you though, that now that I’m not 25 (age has been referenced once, and will not be mentioned in every, or any other posts), I have noticed things…not pleasant things. Knees cracking, back hurting, sore ankles, sore knees, stiff joints…you know, getting old stuff (yikes! when did that happen!?). Anyway, last week, I was so completely overwhelmed with the stress of planning an event at my son’s school, showing houses, keeping up with my online inventory and shipping- well, you get the idea. I missed a day, and just timing had it that I didn’t work out for four days. A month ago, that would have sounded awesome to me. Woo hoo! A break! Seriously, though, by Sunday night, all of those aches and pains (most of which I had frankly forgotten about!) started sneaking back. Ouch. It really does make a difference, and it really is important to take that first step. Because once you get past that first week or two, you will NOT want to go back to doing whatever it is that you were doing, or not doing.
This leads me to “Bring a Buddy” night, coming up this Sunday- Here are the deets:
One Referral: 20%off your training
Two Referrals: 40%off your training
Three Referrals: 60%off your training
Four Referrals: 80%off your training
Five Referrals: you train for free!
Here is how you can get started:
Simply start spreading the word! Listed below are just a few suggested ways you can recruit your buddies:
1. Email : Email all your girlfriends and let them know what you are doing. Invite them to try out a free workout during one of your regularly scheduled sessions.
2. Tweet It! Many people have twitter accounts now. Tweet a message and have people respond with a direct message.
3. Facebook: One recent client recruited over five people to join her group by simply inviting a few friends through a thread in a message on facebook. It took five minutes to post it and now she has free training!
4. Give them a call!
This Sunday is a great opportunity to spread the word, invite your friends to join you, and help build our community! Plus, free training for you because of your referrals isn’t so bad either right?!
If you do have friends who want to attend Bring A Buddy Night, please have them register at http://www.stylesgroupfitness.com/schedule/special-projects/
And, if you want to come as my buddy, c’mon! You won’t regret it! I promise!
